Internal Ballistics Comparison Module

Enter the bullet, case and barrel data into the nine data windows and click the calculate button
This module uses the Powley equations to calculate a powder charge from IMR Powders based upon an optimum loading density and relative burn rate of the different powders. The module provides options fields to change either Load Density, Powder Charge, Muzzle Velocity and Chamber Pressure in Copper Units of Pressure. Enter a new value into the field adjacent to the calculated value and press the adjacent Re-Calculate button to view the calculated changes in the related fields.

Click the main Calculate button before making another calculation.
If the selected powder indicates a powder faster than IMR 4227 then select the Handgun Powder Group and recalculate.
If the selected powder indicates a powder faster than Hercules 2400 then select the Handgun Powder Group and recalculate.

Remember, use these calculations only to view changes in the calculated values when one value is changed.
